Most others, like Cooper Kupp, were let go due to some combination of age, wear and tear, and money before they were ready to end their careers.
It sucks, but... hopefully, much like guys like Eric Dickerson, Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt and others who didn't have that storybook ending, Cooper Kupp will finish out his career and then resume his role proud member and ambassador of the Rams' franchise.
