If not, here's a look.
Perry weighed between just south of 400 pounds when he came into the league but slimmed down to a svelte 340 or so.
As a novelty he became the Bears third-and-short FB and the fans loved it. It sold tickets - and the club continued to use him in that role because, often enough, it worked. His smile and personality were as big as his massive body - and he was a tremendous athlete.
Everybody loved "The 'Frige."
His post-NFL stints at wrestling and boxing didn't pan out too well. Unfortunately, Perry contracted the autoimmine nervous disorder, Guillian-Barre syndrome, diabetes, and alcoholism after his playing days. He now lives off his NFL pension ans Social Security in a rest home.
