The overall fact is the eagles are a top echelon team, there are 4 maybe 5 of them within the 32 total teams. The RAMS are not in total disarray, they have a solid core of players to build on, there are several teams that are not in that spot.
They are in a division that has 4 teams pretty much in the same boat, they all have valuable players, but in the near future cap space may become problems for them. The RAMS can actually lose to the bills and still end up with 10 wins.....
I actually think a loss like this makes the team harder...when you play the very best other teams become a bit more of a win chance. jets, hawks, whiners, saints and cards are all winnable games...
They are a tough team, that has shown by their ability to win games after bitter loses. They are a physical team, but when put up against a team like the eagles that physicality shrinks....They knocked out some of the eagle players.....
What is a smart team? What did they do last night that was dumb? Being out played doesn't make you dumb. They are not a fast team? They had some explosives last night....
They got beat by a better team, IMO when the eagles had their losses it was early in the season, they have found their stride....The division is still there for the RAMS, as is a winning season....going to a SB is a non factor, but a winning season is important, a division title would be nice as well....ending up ahead of the hawks, whiners and cards is a very good thing.
