I think that's fun to play with but I've never put much into a symbiotic relationship between wins and uniforms. I'm not in the least anti-those that do. 
Like I said... it's fun. I just don't think it's relevant.
Which leads me too - and this has NOTHING to do with your reply, Speed - - - more and more these days I see people using ancient history as evidence, (even if minuscule), for current matchups. Put simply... I don't see a playoff game between two teams from the 70's as relevant to today's game. But again.. it IS fun. - JamesJM
