Xavier Smith not the former Colorado safety but the UDFA the Rams signed last year was a Punt Returner for Florida A&M and last season was adjusting to this level of competition. What is nice with Smith is his time speed of 4.38, that is right 4.38. The recent signings of guys like Drake Stoops & J J Laap, who are several ticks slower, Smith seems to have an excellent opportunity to be the Rams gadget guy besides having the ability to really stretch the defense.
