I was excited about Mathis' potential last year and was surprised he didn't go further.

If he's been eating his Wheaties and doing his pushups, plus flexing his brain, honing his skills under good coaching, it'll be interesting to see what he can bring this year.

I thought last year he'd show more than Hampton - and still might. He checks a lot of boxes coming in.
