The Rams finally hired a GM in Steve Ortmayer when they moved to St. Louis. Ortmayer hired Rich Brooks and then went with Lawrence Phillips & Eddie Kennison over Eddie George & Marvin Harrison. Just unbelievable.

Dave Razzano was the only scout who fought hard against Lawrence Phillips. No one would listen to him. They took Kennisom because Harrison was "too similar" to Isaac Bruce ... like that was a bad thing.
They took Conwell to be Moose Johnston ... college TE they wanted to move to FB
