Which is a combination of immediate help in need areas with longer term investments and depth. And not one single head-scratching pick or reach. Not one.
Really, really hard to complain. And personally I think giving up the 2025 2nd rounder is included in that. They clearly wanted to keep #s 83 and 99 and in giving up that 2nd instead it was really the same value. Probably makes a trade back in the 1st round next year more likely but anyway.
There's literally not a position on the team I feel nervous about right now or that's lacking. Of course you want to avoid a rash of injuries anywhere. And if White can't stay healthy CB remains an issue. But they improved their depth and talent this offseason at QB (with JG), RB, WR, TE, OL, DL, Edge, and in the secondary- while also drafting arguably the best kicker prospect in this Draft.
Looking ahead to 2025... I would say CB, WR, OT, QB and ILB (even if Jones is extended) might be the 5 highest priorities- with opportunity to also keep back-filling at RB with what is supposedly a much better draft class there.
