Watching Latu, Ellis and Jackson go up against the same tackles and people will see why Latu was a 1st rounder, Ellis 3rd rounder (although I like him as a 2nd rounder) and Jackson a 5th rounder.
Jackson has basically 1 move. Has a spin move but with no setup and doesn't know when to use it. Good tackles like Fautanu just wait and eat that up.
His main asset is his motor.
Crazy thing is, he's always near the ball. And sometimes, you just have to acknowledge that and think, there's something with this guy otherwise why is he always near a fumble.
I like him as a 5th rounder, it's where he should be. Maybe if Ellis dropped in the 3rd round, they could have picked up him. But without a 4th, the RB pool is just empty. So it makes sense how the Rams draft has played out. Take Corum in the 3rd, don't need to worry about RB leftovers. Still have a bunch of edges to go after in the 5th round.
