I don't think the Rams can get him at 52. But, who knows. Would it be worth it if they could trade up to perhaps 34 or 35? It would take their first 3rd round pick to do so, providing there's a trading partner.
But the fact that he fell out of the 1st round indicates to me that teams weren't as high on him as fans and mocks had him. Or maybe its just bad luck that 6 QBs went, and then a bunch of OTs and WRs, and 4 Edge players that pushed him out of round 1.
Would the Rams consider Sweat? I don't know, but I doubt it. Unless their own investigation found out something about Sweat that mitigates his idiotic DWI I could easily imagine him not even being on the Rams board.
After that, I really like Fiske. And I think he will be there at 52.
So, it'll be interesting.
Me? I say in this draft, stand pat for the 1st 3 rounds. If they want to add a 6th to move up a couple of spots fine, since they have 4 of them.
