They tried CHROME helmets for the Georgia Bulldogs, about 10 years ago. I know dozens of Bulldog fans down here, including my Step Sons. NOBODY thought it was a good idea. I don't even care for the Gators "modern" look. Ex Gator QB, Shane Matthews, even hates it.

I REALLY wish Russell or Starter were still the suppliers. Give it a few years and the NFL will be like the Oregon Ducks with all tradition wiped away.
