By now, I'm just done with Mock Drafts.
The first pick or two might get it right, but anyone is flat out lucky to get anymore than 5 or 6 first round picks right. They might get the 20 or so players TAKEN in the 1st round (in no particular order) right, but that's way different than a Mock Draft that pretends to match a player to a team.
To add in trades? It only makes it sillier.
And then to start predicting 2nd, 3rd, even 6th round picks by team?
Look, if one loves to read comic books for entertainment and understands they have zero basis in reality, that's great. But to taken them seriously on any level?
That's what Mock Drafts are. They are the NFL pundits comic books. The problem for me is that these pundits DO want us to taken them seriously and honestly believe one is better than the other. There's the true fantasy of it all.
Sorry to be a grinch, but I just want the draft to get here so that reality happens and then we will actually have something of substance to argue about!!!
