I just can't see it

Assuming a healthy Kupp, there is no way a rookie WR is going to make the group of Kupp, Nacua and Robinson better. He won't beat out Kupp or Nucua, and it would be one heck of a task to learn the routes and offense fast enough to unseat Robinson who was really performing well last year. There's only so many balls to go around, and the Rams didn't invest heavily in IOL to be pass heavy.

The only reason to take a WR is if the Rams are convinced Kupp is not going to be healthy, or if they think this is his final year and they need to reload. But even then, to put a future need in front an immediate glaring need (Edge, DT) makes no sense to me.

And BTW, if the pick is anything other than Edge, DT with 2 of their first 3 picks, I will maintain it was a bad strategic decision just as I did when Tutu was selected over that terrific Center. Just too darn many good Edge Rushers and DTs available to not have one fall to them at 19.
