I'm in agreement with you. Turner can be moved to RDE and the Rams can look for a bigger, physical presence to play NT. I think Rozeboom is adequate, but a real thumper next to Jones would be ideal.
I would like to see the Rams move Hoecht to LDE and draft an EDGE at 19. If anything, Hoecht can be a rotational player on the DL.
If I were building a defense, I would prioritize stopping the run first. Thats just me though.
Nice thing is Turner gives them some flexibility. He can 3T for them or play elsewhere if they take a 3T up high. But generally I agree with you in that I want more size and power in this DL group.
Which means I want Turner at 3T and then bring in size and power to complement him. So I'm not targeting Newton and company at 19 or after a slight move down. Moreso I'd be looking for a 5T in the first few rounds if possible, and maybe another rotation piece later in say round 5.
And if they can boost the quality at Edge then we would be looking very nice. But of course Edge has to be there for us which is the rub. Hoping it's there at 19.
