I don't think for a minute that the current state of the roster at the edge position is what the Rams had hoped for. But things happen sometimes and plans just don't work out.

I hope that they are not now in the position where, during the draft, they are desperate for players at certain positions and bypass better players just to address roster deficiencies.

We may need to practice extreme patience with the development of this unit now that AD is gone, and I t may be a few years before the Rams achieve a sufficient level of production when it comes to pressuring the QB.

So it goes.
