For the last few years the Rams have used a left safety and a right safety, but this sure sounds like Lake will be a free safety and Curl will be a strong safety. Is this a change in philosophy or am I reading too much into this article?

I’m no expert with the X’s and O’s, but I think it’s fair to say that both Curl and Lake bring extreme flexibility and considerable talent to that Rams secondary.

If Shula and his assistants want to get creative this could be a very effective Ram secondary, indeed.

If holes at Edge and DT get plugged via draft, a future starting CB gets added, I’m thinking that this D is gonna surprise a lot of teams.
