I guess we'll soon know. But as I've speculated in other posts, I don't think the Rams will EVER go the route of using a 1st round pick on a QB as long as McVay is the HC and Snead the GM. The only way that happens is if they determine they need to rebuild the team from the ground up, and allow 2-3 years to once again become a playoff team.

Rather, I see them spending what it takes to get as high a level vet QB as possible when the time comes to replace Stafford. But in the meantime, do all they can to keep Stafford protected with a good Oline, and give him a lot of weapons to throw to as well as a strong running attack.... partly as in inducement to remain playing as long as his body allows it.
