If Harrison gets to 8 where Raheem Morris sits ... would they take a 1st, 2nd, and next year's 1st to drop 11 slots ... especially given that their need is likely at Edge or CB?
The idea of Harrison being a guaranteed top 10 may not be in jeopardy, but his order in the elite echelon of WRs may be changing ... and he "might" make our reach ... but then do we like his lack of participation?
I think if he were to get to us we would probably take him. Unless there is something we don't know about, like ankle structual or medical issues that have not been picked up yet in rumors. He can run the deep routes we need to stretch the field with some threat, and you can throw to him even if he's covered, which Stafford is the kind of QB to do that. He isn't gonna leave a corner in the dust like Nabers will. But obviously he's a top wideout and is capable of a high catch yield to move an offense.
So for the Rams he's not precisely what we need but he's such a specimen they would have to take him I think. I don't think he gets to us of course but if he does it could be some combo of ankle concerns or teams wondering if he's going to be able to separate from NFL corners. There's a big jump to the NFL for wideouts I think, in that way. You suddenly find yourself with guys in your hip pocket even on your best routes.
But he runs a diverse tree, he blocks, and he has all the raw things McVay would want. I do wish he would have run the 40, as I've been wondering about that for a while now. Question is how bad has his practice 40s been for him to not want to run. It's kind of strange and I wonder if there is more at play here like say maybe ankle issues.
