Isn't he getting some guaranteed money from them? I think that would have enticed the RAMS to look at/sign him. I watched his press conference on You Tube.....I just didn't like him, he seemed kinda fake to me.....can't put a finger on it.....I could swear when he talked about missing the 1st 2 games he said something like...I hope we get 2 w's and when I get back we go from there.....IF that's it, that sounds like it's his team......I know he works well in the locker room, I know he gets along well in the locker room....Would have been better IMO if he said something like "I'll be working hard regardless and if I'm ever needed I'll be ready to help in anyway I can"...I know it's only words, but sometimes words are telling.
I hope to be proven wrong, or better yet he never is needed.....He just didn't "feel right" on that stage....it's one of my gut feelings again I'm wrong as much as right in those situations.....
McVay clearly preferred the Jimmy G option to the Wentz option. Reasons why don’t really matter anymore.
Gonna trust McVay on this decision.
Money could have played a factor and I agree that McVay really likes Garoppolo & I am sure Mike LaFleur does too.
