Jordan Whittington - WR - Texas - He's a later day 3 guy, but he was in a loaded Texas WR room with Worthy and Mitchell, both top 40 players in this draft. He is about 6'-1" 205 lbs and has admitted he likes to do the dirty work to help a team win. Takes pride in his blocking, isn't afraid to go over the middle and is a load to bring down in the open field. I really like him as a depth piece that can be brought along. I still want a WR early, but if there is a need to double up at that position, I think he can be good on STs and has some nice upside.
Jalyx Hunt - Edge - Houston Christian - 6'-4" 252 lbs with over 34" arms, he looked good at the Senior Bowl, like he belonged. Super athletic, as a former SAF turned edge rusher, 4.64 40 and his explosive testing was all in the top 80% or better. He is raw and will need time to develop, but you cant teach his size/athletic ability/instincts. Look for him early day 3.
Nate Watson - ILB - Miss. State - 6'-2" 233 lbs. - Excellent diagnoser, good blitzer, and can drop into zone coverage. I dont like him one on one with a back or TE. But he's a thumper and could slide right next to EJ and is a nice value late day 3.
Jaylen Key - SAF - Alabama - 6'-1" 208 lbs - A UAB transfer to Alabama. He bet on himself and became a starter at a school that obviously has tons to talent on its roster. I love that self confidence and desire. UAB used him in the box, in split safety sets and outside in man. Decent ball skills, excellent timing as a blitzer and a good tackler. He doesn't do anything amazing, but he is a solid all around guy with the ability and mental makeup to be excellent on STs. Late day 3.
