Just logged onto a computer at work and saw a Mock after the first week of FA (by some Sports Unlimited whatever). It only featured the first 16 picks but what I found fascinating in regards to the Rams is that they didn't have the first defensive player coming off the board until pick #13. Now I know #13 isn't #19 however if that form were to hold it wouldn't take much for the Rams to trade up to be able to have the pick of the litter defensive player wise (or would it?) How much would it cost to jump for 19 to say 13 and would it be worth it to insure the Rams got the defensive player they covet? OR if the board falls that way they can rest easy if they have say 3 players rated basically the same that one of them will fall to the Rams? Is there a meaningful difference between Liatu, Verse and Turner or are they basically the same guy?
My thinking exactly. Trade up a few notches and have the option of drafting a true blue chip defender.
Or one of the WR or LOT if that is the Rams way to go.
Moving up to Nr. 10 would probably cost our 2nd rounder according to the draft calculator.
I even would consider trading next years Nr.1 to move up this season. We need as much talent as we can get immediately for our run 2024.
