Re: Are the Rams still contenders without Aaron Donald?

I think, keeping a similar bend-but-don't-break defense, we are able to keep things in front of us and hold most teams to 17-25 points.

Definitely a pass rush has been missing and doesn't appear we will get much better next year.

But with a upgraded secondary, perhaps will be similar total results.

So all things being equal, if the new O line can keep Stafford upright, maybe we can average closer to 30 per game on offense and still win 9-12 games.

Will be tough to go too deep, but it's an offensive driven league, so get us in the playoffs and who knows.

I think we overachieved a bit last year so it's going to be tough to repeat or beat that accomplishment with or without AD.

Some people try to just do the math and say "well, we won 10 games last year so we should win 12 this year". But of course the schedule, injuries, turnovers, etc...

It's a team game. We may need to blitz a little more to create some disruption if we don't pick up a couple studs on the d'line.
