I was very confused about the Rams saying that age and price was going to matter when looking for edge rushers. I figured that if they thought this was their super bowl window they just need to find a pass rusher who can win right now. But with the Aaron Donald news it kind of makes more sense. No need to invest big money into older players on this defense. Only young guys who can be foundational pieces for the future. Or cost efficient ones.
