If you bring back Witherspoon on the cheap IMO you have a pretty good 1-2 punch with Williams and him. That would allow less jump to a CB.
I thought I made my point clear: Had we gotten a Hunter or Mack we could have used our Nr. 19 pick on maybe one of the gamebreaker WR or franchise LOT if one should fall. Now we HAVE to hope on of the edge rushers fall and that player immediately helps us in 2024.
By not bringing in one of the good free agent pass rushers the Rams deprived themself of a shot at one of those players.
Bringing back Witherspoon is a good idea because it would give us two very good CBs and it also would open up our 2nd rounder (Nr. 52) for another position (maybe WR or S).
