Danielle Hunter, Texans Agree to 2-Year, $49M ContractI'm guilty of wanting Hunter as much as anyone else on this board.
Wow this guy got a ton of hype and and finally got his huge paycheck.
He was the cherry on top I had in the back of my mind but his cherry sits on top of a hot fudge Sunday in Houston now.
If the Rams really wanted him (that badly) even after their 3 FA signings, they could've got it done.
Maybe the Rams were not as enticing to him and his agent we all thought.
It's possible the Rams were not fond of him for various reasons when his agent put his foot in the ground.
Oh well, that's life in NFL Free Agency.
I'm surprised it took so long for Hunter to get signed. Good for him though. He found his Super Bowl contender for the 2024 season.
It will be interesting to read if the Rams were in negotiations with his agent but couldn't meet their high dollar offers.
