Although there was a highly publicized play in the Whiner vs. Lions playoff game where Young didn't acquit himself very well (to put it very mildly), I'm not sure if he has an ongoing rep for not hustling. Although I won't even try to excuse that one play (it was pretty bad), I don't think that he should necessarily be defined by it for the rest of his career. His injury history (until he proves otherwise)? Maybe. That one play? Not so much.

But it's been my experience that playing on one-year deals seems to "motivate" the younger players.

If we can't grab Mack or Bosa, we're gonna need to find someone as I don't put much faith in rookie D-linemen making immediate impacts.
