I believe its because people went with received knowledge.... The phrase "the bill will come due" was repeated over and over...and everyone just went with it....As someone who used to work in media...never let the media's opinions change what you see to be true with your own eyes.
Honestly, without a historic series of injuries along the offensive line the Rams would have competed in 2022...This combo of McSnead along with Uncle Stan...has been exceptional/unique and as Rams fans we have to recognize what we have now because nothing lasts forever...
