Dotson moved to RG when he came to the Rams. After playing 1000s of snaps as a RG in college. Dotson himself stated that it was his comfort level was better at RG than LG. Maybe it's a subtlety that the normal journalists omit but ESPN used to be the gold standard. Now, it seems like only Jourdan is aware of these small but crucial differences. It may also be why Dotson was more comfortable re-signing with the Rams who have Avila fixed at LG than taking a chance with another team.
Regardless I'm delighted to have Dotson back with the Rams!
