right after the SB win in '99.....Faulk was there (he loves golf). They had a sign, meet,greet time and I had a SB commemorative Helmet for the team to sign. I wanted the helmet done in a certain color pen, Faulk was sitting there at his table, We came up (Mary and I). When I asked him to use a certain sharpie he looked up at me and I swear if he had a hammer he would have swung it at me.
Met him a few years years later at Training Camp in Illinois at the only bar in the college town. He was sitting among like 4-5 college coeds yakking it up, I just interjected a hello and have a great season...the guy totally ignored me like I wasn't there. Told him he was a Jackwad Jerk and those young kids would get him in trouble.....he went on as if I wasn't there. It was funny as all the other guys would be sitting together at tables around the room, he was the only guy sitting with the college girls.
Great football player, he has no soul, he's a total narcissist.....With his talent he could have so much more for the game rather than just stats.....but that's what a soulless person is....I laughed when people would say after retirement he's be a great coach....
