Amid the superlatives I find these two gems in the heart of the article:

"...his knack for tailoring offensive strategies to suit the strengths of individual quarterbacks make him a valuable asset to the Rams’ coaching staff.

Moreover, Schuplinski’s hiring reflects the Rams’ commitment to innovation and staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving NFL landscape."

McVayinitially found in Stafford a quarterback who could do much of what he envisioned in his offensive scheme. He discovered in Stafford a quarterback whose talents stretched the scheme as the two collaborated.

Now he has hired an assistant who will push the envelope further.

This represents a quantum leap forward in the growth of a coach who in the past earned much criticism for not delegating, being married to a scheme at the expense of the players, rather than adapting the scheme to their talents.

It could also represent a leap forward for the lethality of the Rams offense on the field. We'll see what 'Ski brings and how the Rams implement it.

The 9ers and a few others could be in for some surprises. Get your popcorn. party time smiley
