I remember being quietly fire up. When Ellard caught that first TD, I'd just pump my fist and give a quiet...yeesssssss. But by the second half....and a few beers later?? I was hootin n hollering when Bell essentially iced the game late with that long run (He aaaaalmost lost the ball at the end) But MAN! When that game was over, it was 5-10 minutes before 3-4 of my Buds returned from a trip to Memphis. We started a New Years Eve Party right there in the dorm that carried to the NCO Club and back.......till 4 AM. Had my blue 1973-99 #11 jersey on the whole night. Got one hour of sleep and then on with the B.D.U.'s and to the Fire Station......To begin a 3 day hang over!!! LOL The next week, I was at the Fire Station when watching the Giants game. As soon as Flipper ran to the tunnel, I busted out of the TV Room and down down the Crash Truck Bay screaming like a Crazed Man! Blows me away that was all just over 34 years ago. AWESOME times!
