I just have doubts that Donald will want to play at age 34 (in 2025). Maybe he does, who knows. But I don't see him as a guy that will play until he's a shell of himself. He doesn't need to. Has a ring. Has every accolade a defensive player could ever hope for. Guaranteed first ballot HOFer. Made a ton of money. He's playing because he wants to right now which is great.
Same with Stafford. I don't think he wants or plans to play at 40. 2023 was fun for him and he sees a lot of opportunity in 2024. In 2025 (at age 37)? Maybe, maybe not. He has a lot of mileage on him physically and I think he, like Donald, doesn't want or need to hang on until he is 1977 Joe Namath.
