Anybody besides me notice how the 9ers D kinda buckled a little after Greenlaw's exit?
While I don't wish an Achilles injury on anybody, much less a professional athlete, I'm glad he's gone for next year. The supreme irony of his crippling injury is that it was non-contact, and that can be taken several ways. I hope, while he's on crutches, in a walking boot, and doing rehab, he uses the time to reflect, feel really sorryfor himself, and holler out loud, "Why'd you do this to me, God? Why'd this happen to me?" Maybe he'll have enough quiet time, on his own, to listen for an answer - and maybe change.
Meantime, if I had the technical expertise and time to kill, I'd make a video as follows:
(Background: Loud 4-beat distorted e-chord rhythm guitar strum with one-note booming bass and sticks-on-tom rhythm)
Video image shows angry/hostile-looking Greenlaw (not too hard an image to dig up) over loud chant: "I ain't no dirty play-er! I ain't no dirty play-er!" for three measures, chant continues over video for one measure showing Greenlaw knee-dropping player after whistle.
Repeat five times, showing other selected Greenlaw dirty hits. (Again, not hard to find.)
Repeat, with Greenlaw reaching into face of opposing player. (You know the incident in question.)
Repeat with Greenlaw reaching into face of security official. (You know the incident in question.)
Instrumental music continues, over press footage of Shanny saying Greenlaw is not dirty, making excuses.
Music continues, over one-beat repeats of Greenlaw dirty hits. One-two-three-four-five-six-seven-eight.
End image: Sustained e-chord and drum stinger, behind opening Greenlaw portrait, blackout.
