Think our OL coaching staff can make a player out of him?
We have some up-and-coming OL (I hope) but yet-unproven OL players that i'm interested in: Hane we seen the upside of ACUri, Zack Thomas, or McClendon?
At center, Mike McAlllister was drafted as a center but is lsted as a G backup? He's heavier and built tbbuer than Shelton; could he eventually take ove, be an upgrade?
We have depth that might step up at positions of need; for example, I'm still curious about Mathis at edge, along with the guys we have seen a little of, but not much. Will they, canb they, step up?
I', also curious about the development of Zack Thomas and McClendon as (maybe backup) tackles. We know about AJ Acuri, and for the time being I'm coloring Boom, Allen, and Bruss gone.
I'm less optimistic about or D back depth. Originally enthused about Tomlinson's fire an athleticism, but he
MUST learn to channel that aggressiveness where it doesn't cost incessant penalties. That said, I'm salivating at the idea that the Rams can pick up Quin Mitchell as a start-right-now, sticky corner who is big enough, fast enough, and has the raw skills (and one would hope, coachability) to become a stalward player that OC's must reckon with.
Anybody else's thoughts?
