Off Season Musing (our DC)

Was commenting on another thread and it occurred to me that Andy Reid went out and got a DC that was just as good as him on the defensive side of the ball. No one ever questioned Spags acumen on defense just as a HC. While I have no problem going HC vs HC with the Chiefs, there is no universe where you can see Shula as just as good as McVay. Staley, his Charger's HC stint notwithstanding was seen as a McVay on defense. While he wasn't my first choice of DC, I wanted someone from the Raven's staff, at least he fits the Spags mold. Elite mind when it comes to defense and unlikely to be stolen for a HC position anytime soon. Shula might surprise but when measuring our team vs the Dynastic champs, QB vs QB slight edge them but I am ok with, same with HC, best pass rusher AD>Jones. However when it comes to DC, ST and cornerbacks we are inferior. Two of those we can address in FA and the draft the third???
