Re: Former Rams coach could get second chance that nobody would have predicted

Spagnuolo's record is already rectified. He was real goodu as the Giants DC. He's great as the Chiefs DC.

He was in over his head as Rams HC and not well positioned for success.

People change, and hopefully learn, grow, and mature. Some more than others. Steve has found his niche, has refined what he always did well, and it's working for him and his team. It worked well enough yesterday, thank goodness, and on the flip side of that I have to wonder: How would he do against the Rams, Stafford and McVay, Puka and a rehabbed Kupp, a big pass-catching tight end in Allen, and a running back room with more than one weapon?

And how will Shula's D counter what Reid and Mahomes put together?

I think both offenses will score their points if that game comes to pass. And I'd have to try to put my lifelong Rams fandom on the back burner, and watch what could be the best football game of my life. thumbs up smiley

And it might come down to a closing seconds field goal. confused smiley
