You know, my initial reaction/memory of Steve McMichael was similar. But look at his career and you can see why he got in. And he and Larry Brooks had similar stellar 8-year stretches (Brooks from 1973-80, McMichael 1984-91).
I was surprised McMichael's stats were so good. It's a shame he won't be able to fully enjoy it.
