Well one advantage for the Rams is that they normally wouldn't get shot at a player of Bowers' talent if he was a boy scout. I will admit those rumors concern me too btw. But if he drops and they take him it means they vetted him and are good with whatever they uncovered.
And if they were to hit on him then they'd be adding another significant weapon to the field for the offense. Teams normally don't need to sweat the TE when they gameplan us. But Bowers is a guy you gameplan for. So even though I am hoping for defense at 19, and it feels like WR would be the most likely offensive position... I have to say he'd be a very exciting addition and a significant upgrade over what we have. We would certainly feel him year one.
