1948—Rich Saul (Michigan St.)—8/204/1970…Saul was a backup his first five seasons…serving as the long snapper…tough to find work on the Rams line in those days…When Ken Iman was let go after the 1974 season…Saul was the Rams starting center for the next seven years…playing in every game, and starting all but one…six times he was elected to the Pro Bowl…Underrated, Underappreciated…he passed away in 2012…He was second in the string three centers the Rams had from 1965 (Iman)—Saul—1991 (Doug Smith)
