Bucky I feel the same. Maybe we can pluck another position guy off of the Ravens tree. Sometimes like that Browns staff back in the day (Bellicheat, Saban, ect) or that Redskins staff (McVay, Shanny, Lefleur, ect) you can have a serious brain trust, maybe McVay tries another guy off that staff? That is a more exciting option to me than Staley. The thing with Staley that scares me, into thinking he might come back is, I don't think McVay got all he wanted out of the Staley experiment. He wanted a defensive version of himself to go to war against so that the defensive would improve at the same time enabling the offense to improve by going against a defense that was a living growing adaptive organism just like the offense was. For all the greatness that Morris gave us, I never got the feeling his tenure scratched that itch it was more the best possible coach for the defense. McVay might try to have that itch scratched again. I would just prefer it against the match up zone Raven's defense which is ascendant and not the Fangio umbrella which was ascendent before but is now more yesterdays news/commonplace.
