I was reading the article and it occurred to me that of the teams that are requesting interviews for DC the Rams are the best location for the top DC to go. to. I saw the other teams looking for DC's Falcons, Titans, Packers and Giants. Of all those teams except for the Packers there is either a rookie coach or a non playoff team. Now while the Packers are a playoff team, McVay has a bigger tree (of which the Packers coach is a branch) and a better history of getting his Coordinator hired on as a head coach. McVay should get who he wants, I prefer Wilson from the Ravens. He has a Staley feel to him, a top acolyte of the defense the league hasn't figured out yet. That worked great for us before. He also can be the next wunderkind top fresh face head coaching candidate.
