How you say? A first round player that underachieves where he was drafted and disappointed. However after marinating in the Ram's culture and more importantly after being exposed to the Aaron Donald Effect. Fowler, Floyd, A'Shawn Robinson, all fit that bill and benefited from it. Heck while a Hall of Famer Von Miller fits that bill to because by the time we got him, he wasn't doing much more than beforementioned three and to that matter you can add Suh to that list. Elite first round physical ability that is under achieving can be made right in the Rams locker room. That to me says Chase Young. Off the charts physical ability that has underachieved even when surrounded by elite talent in Washington and it Frisco. So he wouldn't be my first choice but he does fit the Rams profile of pass rushers we bring in.
let's hope either the past does not represent future or they do extra scrutiny for the guy and are convinced he won't do this.
My take is he's not a fit. He's never been an outside linebacker. Always a 40 end. Not saying he can't do it, just that he hasn't done it because of his scheme experience. For him to fit Rams new DC would have to change Rams from a 30 to a 40 or really hope he can cover sometimes.
