For sure, and as mtramfan stated, "he progressed and learned a lot through the season".
Many if not most first year Left Tackles have an up and down year struggling at times.
Plus the guard next to him was a rookie and first year starter as well, an off season with our new OL coach and they should both improve together immensely.
I definitely don't believe we have seen his ceiling yet. And you got to love his relentlessness, that rubs off on others.
It would be nice to draft a raw but athletic OT in the mid to later rounds and let him develop for a year or two. And it he turns out great, start him at LT and kick Jackson over to RT when Havenstein retires.
