Here is why I like Detroit
They have a big strong offensive line and they are going to run on the Niners. They have very good WRs and Amon St Brown is special... what an electric player he is. Laporta is a special TE (banged up sure) but he is gutting it out and playing well
I really like the matchup on the Lion's offense going against the 9er's defense.
I also feel like this is a great not good but great story building. This downtrodden team from Detroit going in to play the big bad 9ers who all of a sudden don't look so big and bad when they faced the Ravens, and then the Packers... their defense was manhandled by both
Now back to the Lions offense... they have to stay balanced. To Saguaro's point he is concerned that if the Lions have to play from behind (and get out of their run game) then they can't win that way. But I say it's time... I say this time Goff changes that narrative. Goff beat the Saints (Rams down 13-0)... no carried the Rams to that victory in New Orleans. I can guarantee you SF won't be a hornets nest like he faced then in the 2018 playoffs.
Detroit does not have a great secondary... they haven't all year. They will overcome it on Sunday
