Should the Rams take the Jordan Love route when it comes to when it comes time to look for Staffords replacement when he decides to retire?

Packers drafted Love in the first round of the 2020 draft and had to learn on the bench 3 years behind Rodgers before getting his shot. And so far he's been doing good in the playoffs.

Should the Rams take the same approach and draft a QB early (like Rounds 1-3) in one of these upcoming drafts (2024, 2025) and have him learn behind Stafford and develop him that way before being forced to when Stafford decides to retire and start him right away.

Which approach would you rather take when developing Staffords replacement:

Have him learn on the Bench or draft one when Stafford leaves and start him instantly.
