It makes me think (once again) about the circumstances around the whole Goff/Stafford trade. Could it be that McVay didn't necessarily think that Goff couldn't continue to develop or was it more based on McVay's perception that Goff would not develop enough in the window that McVay and the front office had formed to make a SB run? Was the timing just off for being able to stick with Goff?
I don't know. We probably never will.
