Higbee was drafted before McVay arrived and Gerald Everett taken in the second round was McVay's (Snead as well) first pick (2nd Rd)...and it was very soon after they extended Higbee and let Everett run his course... I get the feeling blocking is probably what's held Brycen Hopkins back/4th Rd....
