DaSilva tried, and to my mind, delivered an unintended double entendre.
"...a new era in New England with Bill Belichick out, hoping to revive one of the most storied franchises in the NFL."
Hoping to revive a
storied franchise? Hmmm... to me the New England story is not a good one. The corruption is many layers deep. They want to revive that?
Overtly, he's praising New England - but what he says can be taken in an entirely different way by those who know the New England/Belichick story.
As to the praiseworthy Belichick/Patriot story, I ain't buying.
