Interesting how some top seed teams must play their starters

January 03, 2024 12:26PM
Virtually al the top seeds in the NFL except for the Niners and the Ravens need to play their starters in this the final week.
Losses could lower their seeding.
It's not an issue of whether they get knocked out; but rather that they are going to have to risk injuries to their key players.

Injuries are serendipitous, but every play opens a player up to it...even non-contact. Just ask Aaron Rogers.

There are other guys on the Rams that just cannot get injured this week than the 5 or so who have already been announced as out. Nacua, Havs, Dotson, Avila, Turner, Young, Robinson, Witherspoon are at the top of that list. It would diminish the Rams for any of these to not be available for the playoffs....especially Nacua. But you just can't let both Turner and Nacua try for their records. Nacua especially is so close.

That is the wrong definition for serendipitous
