Wentz or Winston are both huge upgrades over what the Rams have had the last few years. Rams have chosen not to spend precious cap $$$ on the backup position as that person usually doesn't play on Sunday.
I like the idea of using a draft pick to take a QB if it is a strong draft and one slides. I would be okay taking a QB in the 1st round if one of the top guys tumbled down to our position. I liked the Bennett choice, which didn't turn out well, but he looked like he could be a capable backup. Maybe a Bo Nix is is there in the 3rd round and would fit the bill.
Probably with Wentz or Winston is that they are going to cost $$$$. Provably 4-6Mil. which is a lot of money for someone who doesn't play. I do agree though we need to at least invest a draft pick if not cap space to upgrade the BU QB Spot.
